After decades of shooting Large Format Film for his clients' Advertising needs, even going so far as to be one of the few Photographers that would go through the laborious task of Processing all of his own Large Format Transparency Film, because he wasn't satisfied with the color consistency of what was provided by many of the local "Pro" photo labs, Bob went completely Digital in 2000. Now, he had even more control in achieving the precision and quality results he always strives for in his work.

Bob shoots with one of the top Digital Camera Backs on the Market, manufactured by Phaseone (Denmark), attached to a Contax 645 Camera Body using world renowned Carl Zeiss Lenses.

Bob's shooting style and the Digital Integration of his Work-flow permit clients from anywhere in the world to remotely Art Direct the Photo Shoot. Within a few minutes of completing a photo, it, or often, numerous variations of it, are put up on the Internet for viewing through any Web Browser, as well as delivered to the client by E-mail, to facilitate the Approval process or alteration, if needed, regarding the finished photo(s).

This process affords the Client great savings as they do not need to pay an employee to be out of the office all day at a photo shoot, when they can spend a few minutes here and there throughout their day in their office, to provide their valuable input regarding the photo(s).

Of course there are the occasional complex assignments with Stylist being required, and other situations where there can be advantages to having the Art Director at the shoot. About 90% of the shoots Bob does are remotely Art Directed.
