Occupy Orlando Pictures

Occupy Orlando offers the chance of capturing some compelling images of people with picket signs. A sister demonstration supporting the Occupy Wall Street movement which sprang up in New York City, the Occupy Orlando movement offers photographers who are used to capturing the standard Orlando domestic scene the opportunity to try their hand at moving with and photographing what some would call an angry mob and others would call American activists. Whatever a person's conviction is about the politics surrounding the movement, as a photographer, I think you can't deny the excitement of having the opportunity to photograph big historical social movements.

The Occupy Orlando pictures of the demonstrators I took were made up of some 1500 to 2000 people as I understand. At one time, the protestors spanned ove 6 large city blocks which was pretty noticable to bystandards who are used to a sleepier, less politically charged Orlando. Have a look and decide for yourself what you take away from the photographs I took.
